Located in the peaceful embrace of rivers and greenery, Mathabhanga has always possessed the potential for growth and transformation. Recognizing this, a small group of dedicated thinkers and visionaries came together with a shared purpose: to create an institution that would open doors of opportunity for every child in the region, irrespective of their background. It was with this aspiration that the Kalikaganj Welfare Society laid the foundation of S.C.G. English Academy in 2009.

Our journey began with limited resources but limitless determination. We believed then—as we do now—that education is the most powerful tool for social upliftment.
